The inherent strength of precast building blocks used for underground infrastructure was leveraged to create a completely unique tower. Using a 3D modeling and analysis, rapid iterations were conducted—rotating, shifting, repositioning, and reorienting the blocks within the stack—to achieve a solution that avoided any strengthening or reinforcement. The iterations involved fine-tuning and gradually refining the unique arrangement to achieve the desired artistic outcome within the strength limits of the existing blocks.
