The Terasaki Research Institute is a nonprofit organization founded by the late Dr. Paul Terasaki, a pioneer of modern organ transplant technology. Nous provided structural engineering for two large, interior skylight elements measuring approximately 30ft x 30ft in plan.

The unusual structure of each consists of a light-weight steel radial lens-truss. The center each oculus is accentuated by a custom formed fiberglass shell finished in chrome. The remainder of the skylight is clad in a PTFE fabric membrane.
